Why Choose Online Counseling?

Remote counseling is widely popular abroad and is now gaining traction in Greece as well. During an online session, counseling takes place through a specialized program where each person sees the other from their own space. All you need is a quiet, private, and comfortable environment, a stable internet connection, and the necessary equipment: a computer or tablet with a camera, headphones, and speakers.

Many people choose it for various reasons. Online counseling is for you if:

  • You are comfortable using technology (computer or tablet, speakers, headphones, Skype).
  • You hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional but recognize and want to address your concerns.
  • You have difficulties with transportation.
  • You live in a remote area far from an urban center.
  • You prefer not to be seen by local mental health professionals.
  • Your work or lifestyle makes it difficult to visit a therapist’s office.
  • You don’t always have a stable place of residence.
  • You may soon relocate permanently.
  • You are living abroad but want to discuss your concerns in your native language.
